The story begins in 2011, when Nana Pokua Gyan — a young entrepreneur driven by vision and determination — registered MJ Comet Enterprise as a sole proprietorship. As the business scaled from cement and construction materials into edible oils, industrial ethanol and community development, Nana Pokua established Comet Global Group as the parent structure — unifying four distinct subsidiaries under one governance framework, one quality standard and one overarching vision.

Nana Pokua Gyan is the founder and CEO of Comet Global Group. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2011 — driven by an unshakeable passion and a clear-eyed vision of the economic impact she wanted to create. Starting with wholesale cement distribution in Greater Accra, she built MJ Comet Enterprise from the ground up.
Over more than two decades, she has conducted business across the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Poland, Switzerland, Canada, Italy, France, Dubai, South Africa, Brazil and Belgium — forging the cross-border supplier partnerships that give Comet Global Group its distinctive competitive edge.
